Editorial Policy
Our commitment
Korean Skincare Products is committed to providing accurate, honest and useful information about Korean skincare. We aim to write clearly, avoid hype, set realistic expectations and acknowledge the limits of what cosmetic skincare can achieve.
Research standards
All content on this site is written based on:
- ›Publicly available cosmetic science information and ingredient databases
- ›INCI (International Nomenclature of Cosmetic Ingredients) documentation
- ›Widely accepted dermatology and skincare knowledge
- ›Korean beauty industry information and product knowledge
- ›Editorial review for accuracy and clarity before publication
Language standards
We follow specific language standards throughout this site to avoid misleading claims:
We do not say "clinically proven" or "dermatologist-approved"
unless this is specifically and accurately documented for a specific product
We do not say "will" when discussing ingredient effects
we use "may", "is associated with" or "many people find" to reflect that individual responses vary
We do not claim skincare can treat medical conditions
skincare is cosmetic; medical skin concerns require professional assessment
We do not guarantee specific results
results depend on many individual factors outside any skincare product's control
Commercial independence
Korean Skincare Products does not accept payment from brands, retailers or PR agencies for editorial coverage. We do not feature sponsored product reviews presented as independent editorial content. If affiliate links are used anywhere on this site, this will be clearly disclosed in the relevant content.
Updates and corrections
Skincare science and product formulations change over time. We review and update content where significant changes in ingredient knowledge occur. If you identify an error or outdated information, please contact us and we will review it promptly.
Medical disclaimer
All content on this site is for educational and general information purposes only. It does not constitute medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. If you have a skin condition, please consult a qualified healthcare professional or dermatologist.
